Darrius White has announced a verbal commitment to Alabama.
White attends Creekside High School in Georgia, and he is a member of the 2027 recruiting class. His commitment gives the Tide nine commits in the 2027 recruiting class. The rising senior becomes the Tide’s first defensive back pledge.
Auburn, Florida State, North Carolina and North Carolina State are among the schools that offered White before he committed to the Tide. Alabama hosted White for an official visit in May.
The 6-foot-3 defensive back is expected to add more length to the Tide’s defensive back room. The length he possesses aids him in coverage and allows him to have a wide coverage radius.
