Former Alabama starter signed by New England Patriots

The New England Patriots added to its offensive line this week as it announced the signing of former Alabama starter Darrian Dalcourt.

Dalcourt played with the Crimson Tide from 2019-2023 appearing in 39 game with 19 starts at both center and right guard. He was also a part of the 2020 National Championship team while at Alabama.

Following his collegiate career, Dalcourt went undrafted in the 2024 NFL Draft and has had several practice squad and tryouts over the past two seasons with the Baltimore Ravens, Washington Commanders, Carolina Panthers and Cleveland Browns.

New England certainly needs the depth up front following its first preseason game on Friday as it lost Ben Brown to a leg injury causing him to leave the game.
