Kalen DeBoer shares expectations for Austin Mack after QB battle

Alabama named Keelon Russell its starting quarterback this weekend. The Crimson Tide picked the former five-star over senior quarterback Austin Mack.

Mack is a quarterback that transferred from Washington to Alabama in 2024 after Kalen DeBoer left Washington to take the head coaching job at Alabama. Mack sat behind quarterbacks like Jalen Milroe and Ty Simpson, and he was given an opportunity to compete for the starting job this offseason.
