Alabama freshman running back at practice after being limited in fall camp

Alabama football’s freshman running back and former five-star running back EJ Crowell was spotted back at practice Wednesday looking ready to roll.

Crowell was spotted wearing his No. 13 jersey while during running back drills. He also was not in a non-contact jersey.

Alabama’s offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb updated Crowell’s health earlier this week.

“He was out there yesterday practicing and moving,” Grubb said. “I always leave that decision up to Jeff (Allen) “Ultimately he’s gonna be in charge of that. But EJ is, I told him yesterday, like the Wolverine, I mean the guy’s unbelievable. Him and Noah Rogers are, those guys are a different planet. So, been really, really impressive. I didn’t see any setbacks yesterday with EJ. He was cutting off of both of his feet and looked really, really good. We’ll just see how it keeps progressing.”
