Former Alabama player points out ‘huge problem’ for Tide against East Carolina

Former Alabama football wide receiver and National Champion Marquis Maze feels a huge problem was exposed in the Tide’s win over East Carolina.

Maze feels the Crimson Tide’s offensive line has to be better as a whole, and he thinks Alabama football’s starting center Racin Delgatty has to step it up in a major way.

“Now if y’all want my real truth, that center was a huge problem today; he was getting blown up and pushed in the backfield a lot! Our offensive line gotta get a whole lot better if we want to contend, the defense did pretty good, but that was a lesser opponent! Roll Tide 4 Life,” Maze posted to X.

The Crimson Tide’s defense only gave up 10 points in the win. The only touchdown the Pirates scored came in the first half. East Carolina kicked a field goal to get on the board in the second half.

Alabama will hit the road to play Kentucky on Saturday to open up conference play.
