In-state 2028 linebacker de-commits from Alabama

Ryquan Butler has decommitted from Alabama, Touchdown Alabama has learned.

Butler is a 2028 linebacker prospect, and he attends Loachapoka High School in Alabama. He holds offers from Auburn, Mississippi State, Tennessee and others.

The talented linebacker committed to Alabama in April.

At 6-foot-3 and 200 pounds, Butler is an impressive linebacker in space. He takes great angles to the football and possesses the athleticism a lot of teams are prioritizing at the linebacker position on the recruiting front. The in-state prospect feels his ability to make plays all over the field and his football IQ are among his biggest strengths. He considers himself to be a defender who can play sideline to sideline.
