Alabama makes visit ‘worth the drive’ after becoming first school to offer Mississippi 6-foot-6 Edge

Alabama football recently extended an offer to Nosiah Davis, and the junior made his way to Tuscaloosa soon after to visit the Crimson Tide. Davis was one of several recruits in Tuscaloosa over the weekend, and the visit was well worth it for the Alabama vs. East Carolina game, which had an 11 a.m. kickoff.

“It was a long drive, but it was worth it,” Davis told Touchdown Alabama.

Davis is a junior at Forest High School in Mississippi, and he is a member of the 2028 recruiting class. The junior is expected to be an edge defender at the next level. His offer list now includes offers from Alabama, Connecticut, Ole Miss and Nebraska.

The Crimson Tide became the first D1 program to offer Davis on Aug. 31.

“It feels amazing,” Davis said when asked how does it feel to hold an offer from the Tide. “It’s showing my hard work and patience towards the process is paying off.”

The 6-foot-6, 245-pounder flashes the ability to be strong at the point of attack and turn and run. The junior also shows an ability to be successful at making tackles in space while staying at home as an edge defender.
