Rain, lightning delay possible for Alabama vs. Kentucky

Alabama football is set to take on the Kentucky Wildcats Saturday in Lexington on Saturday, and rain is likely, according to James Spann.

Spann updated the forecast on Thursday and shared that a lightning delay is possible.

“Alabama is on the road Saturday; they take on Kentucky in Lexington (2:30p CT kickoff). The sky will be mostly cloudy, and a few periods of rain are likely during game…. a lightning delay can’t be ruled out. Temperatures will be in the low 80s,” Spann posted to X.

The game will be kicked off at 2:30 p.m., and ABC will broadcast the game.

Alabama enters the game 1-0 after winning last week against East Carolina 48-10. Kentucky beat Youngstown State last week.
