The Alabama Crimson Tide will face the Florida State Seminoles at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Alabama will enter the matchup seeking revenge following last year’s 31-17 upset loss against the Seminoles. Sophomore quarterback Keelon Russell will look to play at an even higher level following a shaky performance against Kentucky last weekend, and Alabama as a whole will look to take full advantage of an underwhelming FSU team in Week 3.
Crimson Tide cornerback Zabien Brown recently took a moment to comment on the upcoming matchup, as Brown knows the Tide will more than likely see the best of FSU despite their 1-1 start to 2026.
“We’re Bama, that’s what we expect from everybody.” Brown said. “We are everybody’s Super Bowl, and we expect to get everybody’s best shot. We want nothing less.”
Brown was then asked if last year’s loss to the Seminoles has remained as a topic of discussion in the locker room this week.
“I feel like the people that were here, we understand what happened last year and what that was like. And for the people that weren’t here, I’m sure they seen it all over the media. It’s not really something that needs to be overly brought up.”
Brown and the rest of the Tide’s defense could quickly begin dominating as the Seminoles offense has struggled immensely to begin the year. The unit as a whole appears to be paying little to no attention to last year’s Week 1 loss, and Alabama’s defense will look to pick up right where they left off against Kentucky this weekend.
