Last Sunday, former Alabama and current New York Jets defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick left the game vs. the Tennessee Titans after suffering a groin injury.

According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, the former Alabama defensive back will miss two or three weeks because of the injury. However, Fitzpatrick will not be placed on New York’s injury reserve list.

Fitzpatrick was a big addition to the Jets defense after the Jets went the entire 2025-26 season without an interception, but Fitzpatrick only played six snaps last Sunday.

The Jets defeated the Titans 23-10 and will host the Green Bay Packers this Sunday.
