Alabama football official visit hits its mark with Tide priority DB target

Preston Glasco went into his official visit to Alabama last weekend with a focus on learning more about the Crimson Tide as a program.

“Just soaking everything in honestly,” Glasco said when asked what he is looking forward to on his visit. “Really just getting to know the coaches more and learning more about the defensive side of things.”

Glasco is continuing to see his stock rise, and he holds recent offers from Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee and Purdue. The Grayson High School product also holds an offer from in-state program Georgia. His recruitment is now open after recently de-committing from UConn.

The senior told Touchdown Alabama the visit hit its mark in terms of him learning more about the Tide.

“It was good,” Glasco said. “The entire weekend was pretty smooth. They took care of me and my family, making sure every question we had got addressed. It was also good meeting with the nutritionist and strength coach, as well as some of the academic team.”

The 6-foot-3, 192-pound defensive back possesses the frame and length the Crimson Tide continue to show heavy interest in. This length allows the defensive back to have a wide coverage radius due to their long arms. The senior also flashes the ability to be an effective tackler when he comes downhill to help in run support.
