Chauncey Bowens has been ruled out for the Georgia Bulldogs’ upcoming matchup against the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Bowens is a key member of the Bulldogs’ rushing attack. The running back has rushed for 124 yards on 35 carries through five games. He was injured during Georgia’s win against Vanderbilt.

The running backs’ six rushing touchdowns this season lead the Bulldogs.

Bowens’ status was revealed in the initial SEC Availability Report for the game.

Alabama is also dealing with injuries ahead of Saturday’s game. Josh Ford (tight end) and Jorden Edmonds (cornerback) are questionable for the game. The Tide is also expected to be without edge defenders Justin Hill and Desmond Umeozulu for yet another week.
