Alabama football has been hit with the injury bug multiple times in the last few weeks, and head coach Kalen DeBoer provided an injury update for multiple players after the Tennessee loss.

Defensive back Zabien Brown and running back EJ Crowell exited Saturday’s game due to lower-extremity injuries. Also, wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams, defensive tackle Terrance Green and center Racin Delgatty missed Saturday’s game due to injuries. DeBoer talked about those players on Monday.

“Zabien, lower-leg injury,” he said. “Just kinda evaluate throughout the week what he looks like. Racin is really in the same boat. Just kinda go to him. He’s progressing pretty well though. He’s going to be week-to-week. Ryan is also, you know again, a lot of these guys are in the same area and the same window. I wouldn’t be expecting them to be practicing all week long… EJ, lower-leg injury. Just kinda continue to evaluate and see where he’s at here in the next couple of days. I wouldn’t expect him to practice early in the week for sure. Terrance is progressing… Terrance is week-to-week right now.”

The injuries are piling up for Alabama, and the Crimson Tide’s depth will be tested. Luckily for Alabama, the bye week is coming up soon, but there is one more conference game to play before then.

Alabama will host Texas A&M this Saturday at 2:30 p.m. CT.
