Kalen DeBoer calls out key area Alabama needs to improve in

Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer spoke to reporters at the Monday Morning quarterback club, and he was asked about how close Alabama is to playing to its full potential.

DeBoer believes the team needs to be more consistent and put together four quarters of solid football.

“It’s more about consistency,” he said. “You can see the guys out there and what it can look like. We actually did that today, but we also addressed areas that we fall short with our execution. That’s what we gotta improve. We got to play four quarters, not just two or three. Especially early in the game. I know our guys are gonna fight and continue to gather the information and get on the sideline and solve the problems or solve the things that are new that people have game planned. I know all of that exists, but we got to be better earlier on.”

The Crimson Tide are in a BYE week right now, and they’ll play at LSU next weekend. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CT.
