Former Auburn commit Nate Craig-Myers has been ranked the #1 receiver in the nation, and for good reasons. He has the ideal size to be an elite receiver, at 6’2″, 205 pounds, he has been clocked at 4.62 in the 40-yard dash but, his downfield speed says differently. He has the natural speed and athleticism to make a play anywhere on the field, making him one of those guys you must prepare your team to face. Not only can he beat you with athleticism, but he has soft hands and has the ball skills to beat almost any corner he faces, whether at the high point or in mid-route.
Touchdown Alabama Recruiting Analyst Derek Hooper stated, “Nate Craig-Myers has the skill set that you love to see from a wide receiver”. He added on the praise by saying “He has great hands and maneuverability and is gone as soon as he puts the burners on. Whoever lands Craig-Myers will have a playmaker on their hands.”
The praise for Myers continued from Maxwell Taylor, another Touchdown Alabama recruiting analyst when he stated, “Myers is the most talented prospect in this class. (Myers) was listed as an athlete for most of his recruitment process, but now he looks like the best wide receiver prospect in the last few years. He is physical, creates big plays with his strong hands and makes catches in traffic look easy because he is the best route runner in this (2016) class.”
Craig-Myers currently holds 47 offers, and has opened up his recruitment since decommitting from Auburn.
