Ross is a 6-foot-2, 190-pound defensive back out of Alexandria High School in Alexandria, Alabama.
In addition to playing defensive back, Ross also played some wide receiver and running back. Ross was a nominee for The Friday Night Network Player of the Year and accounted for 1,904 all-purpose yards and 28 touchdowns as a senior.
Ross was originally committed to Liberty, but when Hugh Freeze decided to take the head coach job at Auburn, he decommited.
