Alabama football has marquee depth on offense and defense entering spring practice and next season.
Several players, including two veteran players, took a redshirt after last year. The freshmen that chose to redshirt were Jeremiah Alexander, Ty Simpson, Elijah Brown, Tre’Quon Fegans, Isaiah Hastings, Antonio Kite, Danny Lewis Jr., Earl Little II, Shawn Murphy, Jake Pope, Shazz Preston, Elijah Pritchett, and Khurtiss Perry. All of these players have a year in the system and are ready to become playmakers.
Justin Eboigbe suffered a neck injury last season and had to have surgery. As a former four-star defensive end from Georgia, Eboigbe accepted a redshirt and is back for a fifth year.
Thaiu Jones-Bell, a former four-star receiver in the 2020 class, worked in four games last year. He took a redshirt and is back as a redshirt junior.
Emmanuel Henderson, a former five-star in the 2022 class, was listed as a RB/WR last year but is now fully a receiver. Jase McClellan, Roydell Williams, Jam Miller, Justice Haynes, and Richard Young are the Crimson Tide’s five scholarship backs.
