Steve Sarkisian previews return to Tuscaloosa for Alabama-Texas game

Steve Sarkisian before Texas' spring game for this year

The Texas Longhorns head football coach Steve Sarkisian recently discussed the Alabama vs. Texas September matchup during the Texas Fight Tour.

Sarkisian and Texas were defeated by Alabama in Austin 20-19 last season. The former Alabama offensive coordinator hopes things will be different this time around and is working to make sure his team will be ready.

“That’s going to be a heck of a ballgame,” Sarkisian said. “I spent three years of my life coaching in Bryant-Denny Stadium for Nick Saban. It’s going to be a great environment, and they’ll do a heck of a job. Their fans will be revved up, and their kids will be ready to play. The goal is to get our kids ready to play.”
