After four seasons in Minnesota (2019-22) with the Vikings, the former second-round pick of the 2019 NFL Draft signed a one-year contract for the Cincinnati Bengals. Smith joined 2019 Heisman Trophy winner, Joe Burrow, a former standout at Louisiana State University. The two are starting to develop a connection in organized team activities. Cincinnati shared a video clip to social media of Burrow completing a pass to Smith in practice. Bengals fans got excited as they expect big things from Smith on offense.

He missed the 2021 season for the Vikings because of a torn meniscus to his knee, but Smith totaled 91 catches for 858 yards receiving and nine touchdowns in 37 games for Minnesota. He helped Alabama to a College Football Playoff National Championship in 2017 while enjoying his best season in 2018.

The New Orleans (La.) native collected 44 receptions for 710 yards and seven touchdowns. He assisted the Tide to capture a Southeastern Conference Championship. Smith now looks to take Cincinnati’s offense to new heights.
