The sophomore from Texas gave Crimson Tide fan a taste last year of what it could see throughout his time. Miller grabbed his opportunities and averaged 6.7 yards per rushing attempt. He recorded 223 rushing yards and two touchdowns, causing fans to want to see more from him. Nick Saban highlighted him in preseason camp as someone to watch in the upcoming season.

Miller possesses the ability to run through defenders and run by defenders. Williams, a Hueytown (Ala.) native, is on the watch list for the Reese’s Senior Bowl. He is excited to see what his teammate does. Williams sees Miller as an ‘impactful’ playmaker.

“He is very explosive,” Williams said Tuesday about Miller.

“He is a very physical runner. He is willing to learn and is a very impactful player in the room.”

Alabama’s coaching staff saw great things from Justice Haynes in spring practice, but Miller will grab carries from him.

Richard Young, a five-star freshman, is highly gifted athletically, but he is learning the offense.

Miller is a player to keep your eyes on for this season. He is a home run hitter in the offense.
