Alabama’s offense has lacked something through seven games of the football season.
Tommy Rees, 30, was brought in to bring balance and creativity, but we have yet to see it.

Lane Kiffin, Steve Sarkisian, and Michael Locksley had the Crimson Tide ranked as one of the top offensive attacks in college football. Bill O’Brien, contrary to popular belief, had the Tide averaging 40 points per game and coached a Heisman Trophy winner at quarterback. Rees has Alabama barely scoring 30 points per contest. The Tide has to be able to score consistently with others in the league, especially with the matchups getting tougher. Poor snaps, penalties, sacks allowed, and an inconsistent rushing attack have been problems for Alabama. The issues have led to several jaw-dropping stats that need to improve quickly.
Alabama’s National Offensive Rankings
-Total offense: 367.9 ypg, No. 86
-Scoring offense: 30.1 ppg, tied for No. 57
-Rushing offense: 148.4 ypg, tied for No. 71
-Red zone offense: 12 TDs on 21 attempts, 57.1 percent
-First down offense: 129 first downs, tied for No. 73
-Sacks allowed: 31, No. 126 (out of 130 FBS schools)
Alabama normally leads college football in some of these areas, but it is not even in the top 20 this year.

Rees has to fix things up against Tennessee and beyond. The Tide could drop more games if a change does not happen.
