The game of the year in the SEC is set for a 7 p.m. CST kickoff on CBS. The 7th ranked Crimson Tide will host the 4th ranked LSU Tigers on November 7. Alabama has won four straight games in the rivalry, starting with the 21-0 win in the 2011 BCS National Championship Game.
LSU improved to 7-0 with a 48-20 win against Western Kentucky while Alabama got to 7-1 and escaped with a 19-14 win against Tennessee. Both teams are on a bye week in week 9. It will be the sixth time in eight years the two teams are ranked in the top 10 for the rivalry game.
This will be the fifth straight year that this November matchup will be played in a primetime slot on CBS. The game will air after the conclusion of the Arkansas-Ole Miss game that will kickoff at 2:30 p.m. CST.
