It was a tradition before Nick Saban, during the Saban era, and now Kalen DeBoer keeps it going.

Alabama players and the Million Dollar Band were at Thomas Drew Field after Thursday’s practice to sing the fight song.

The freshmen class, which includes Ryan Williams, Caleb Odom, Red Morgan, Jaylen Mbakwe, Dre Kirkpatrick Jr., and others, had the lyrics for ‘Yea Alabama’ ready to go. They received coaching from Quandarrius “Que” Robinson, a veteran linebacker, but they got the rhythm of the song in order. Kalen DeBoer and JaMarcus Shephard were the coaches featured in the video from Alabama football on X. Jalen Milroe, the Crimson Tide’s quarterback, indoctrinated the freshmen players into the “BPsiPhi” chant at the end.

These players have bonded as a family, and they are ready for this season.
