Dallas is at its best on defense when linebacker Rolando McClain is healthy and wise.
McClain produced huge numbers last week against Tampa Bay, totaling eight tackles and three quarterback hurries in a 6-10 loss to the Buccaneers. The former Alabama standout made his presence felt Sunday against Miami on the first play of the game. He intercepts a pass off Dolphins’ quarterback Ryan Tannehill and goes for a 12-yard touchdown in the first quarter. It was McClain’s first touchdown of his NFL career.
The league took notice, sharing McClain’s via Twitter.

He finished fourth on the team in tackles (three) and recorded one tackle for loss.
McClain anchored a Dallas defense that limited Miami to 70 rushing yards. He has 27 total tackles this season. The Cowboys earned its third win, defeating the Dolphins 24-14.
It ends a seven-game losing streak, but has a ways to go for a possible playoff run. Dallas (3-7) will host the undefeated Carolina Panthers (10-0) next week at AT&T Stadium.
