Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer is nearing a critical decision prior to Week 1 of the 2026 campaign. 

The Tide have a highly anticipated quarterback battle on their hands, as promising sophomore Keelon Russell and veteran Austin Mack will compete over the course of fall camp for the starting role.
