A pair of offensive stars in leadership roles for Alabama football will serve a suspension for the first half of the team’s season-opener against Duke.
Per a tweet from Joseph Goodman of AL.com, running back Najee Harris and Brian Robinson missed a team function on Tuesday. Both players are returning juniors with much experience and were highly-touted athletes out of high school in the 2017 recruiting cycle.

Starting outside linebacker Terrell Lewis and wide receiver DeVonta Smith have also been suspended according to BamaOnLine.
In the aftermath of this issue, look for Jerome Ford (ankle), Keilan Robinson and Chadarius Townsend to enter the game earlier than expected.
