Should it consider moving out of the AFC South?

This question should cross the mind of the Jacksonville Jaguars at least twice a year, when it comes to playing the Tennessee Titans.

It has almost been a year since Derrick Henry abused Jacksonville’s defense, as he totaled a career-high 238 yards rushing with four touchdowns in a 30-9 victory for the Titans on Dec. 6, 2018. The highlight of that matchup was a 99-yard run, which tied former NFL legend – Tony Dorsett – for the longest scoring run in league history.

Unfortunately for the Jaguars, Henry still has its number.

He tallied his third 100-yard performance on Sunday, gashing Jacksonville for 159 yards with two scores on 19 attempts.

His 74-yard run to the end zone was reminiscent of the 99-yarder that fans will never forget.

He averaged 8.4 yards per carry in Tennessee’s 44-20 win, while five of his 19 runs resulted in either first downs or touchdowns.

In his meetings with Atlanta, Kansas City and now the Jaguars, Henry totaled 100-plus yards rushing and the Titans won all three.

He is now nine yards shy (991) from his second consecutive 1,000-yard season.

The 6-foot-3, 247-pounder was 10th in the National Football League in rushing before facing Jacksonville, and he’ll remain in the top-10.

Even with the win, Tennessee still needs some help to make the playoffs.

At 6-5, Henry and the Titans can certainly use a loss from the Steelers, Raiders and Colts. These teams are also 6-5 and stand in Henry’s way of postseason action.

A former All-American, Heisman winner and national champion, Henry knows that crazy moments can happen in football. He was the leader of a season in 2015 that saw the Crimson Tide win a national title, despite a loss to Ole Miss.

It is experience he has always been able to draw from, as he looks to take the Titans on a journey it has not been on since Steve McNair.

Henry and company will have a chance to avenge its loss to the Colts next week.
