For the University of Alabama, Nick Saban and company are set to bring in a new wave of freshmen. On Wednesday, the early period of National Signing Day takes center stage as student-athletes will sign their letters of intent. With much excitement brewing, the Crimson Tide’s social media account released a hype video to energize its fan base. According to the Touchdown Alabama Magazine recruiting database, the Tide has 22 verbal commitments — including 5 five-star athletes.

Justin Smith, lead scouting and recruiting analyst for TDA, has JC Latham (offensive line) and Ga’Quncy McKinstry (athlete) as the only two commitments with diamond grades.
