Former Alabama wide receiver Daylon Charlot will remain in a power five conference, as the sophomore has chosen to take his talents to the Big 12 and join the Kansas Jayhawks.
Charlot released the news via social media on Thursday, while Jayhawks beat writer John Kirby reported a story. He announced his transfer on Wednesday, after coming off a season in which Charlot was a member on a national championship team. The 6-foot, 195-pound target had two catches for nine yards in 2015, but was a high four-star recruit upon signing with the Crimson Tide.
He totaled 78 catches for 1,766 yards and 30 scores in his career at Patterson (La.) High School.
