Eddie Lacy Injures Ankle Against Seattle Seahawks

It was a tight game at Lambeau Field between Green Bay and Seattle, and the Packers had to finish without star running back Eddie Lacy. The former Alabama standout was carted off the field in the first quarter and taken to the locker room, after sustaining a right ankle injury.

He could have returned after being noted as questionable; however, Lacy ended up been ruled out for the remainder of the contest. His ankle was tapped, prior to him going to the locker room. Packers’ running back James Starks picked up the slack, totaling 95 yards.

Green Bay’s quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 25 of 33 pass attempts for 249 passing yards with two touchdowns. Ex-Crimson Tide safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix anchored the Packers defense with nine total tackles. Green Bay defeated Seattle 27-17, and is now 2-0 on the year.
