Alabama football loses JC Latham to the NFL, lost Seth McLaughlin and Kadyn Proctor to the NCAA transfer portal, but it has three marquee offensive linemen returning to usher in the Kalen DeBoer era in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

Jaeden Roberts, a rising junior, affirmed his commitment to the Crimson Tide on social media. The 6-foot-5, 316-pounder from Houston (Texas) brought physicality and toughness to Alabama's offensive line in 2023. He earned his first career start against Texas A&M, helping Jalen Milroe produced a 300+ yard passing performance against the Aggies. Roberts, a member of the Crimson Tide's 2021 recruiting class, did not look back from there. He started the remainder of the season and got better with each matchup. Roberts' best performance came in the Southeastern Conference Championship Game against Georgia.

He recorded a career-high six knockdown blocks and missed only one assignment.

Roberts pushed the Tide to a 27-24 victory over the Bulldogs, dethroning a two-time College Football Playoff National Championship. He assisted Alabama to return to the CFP after it missed the final four in 2022.

The trio of Roberts, Tyler Booker, and Elijah Pritchett give the Tide three linemen with experience under Scott Huff, who comes over from Washington to be Alabama's offensive line coach. Huff guided the Huskies to earning the Joe Moore Award, which goes to the nation's top offensive unit in college football. Alabama fans are grateful to have Roberts' commitment to his program.
