The University of Alabama had its national championship dreams crushed in the Rose Bowl versus Michigan.

Alabama suffered a 20-27 loss in overtime on Monday, ending its 2023 season in a College Football Playoff Semifinal matchup inside Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, Calif. The Wolverines totaled more yards and made more timely plays than the Crimson Tide on a massive stage. J.J. McCarthy, Michigan's starting quarterback, had three touchdown passes and Blake Corum totaled 83 rushing yards and a touchdown on 19 carries. McCarthy had a huge 16-yard run in the fourth quarter, giving Michigan a first down on its final drive to tie the game at 20. Alabama did not match the Wolverines' intensity, but a starting defensive back for the Crimson Tide is hinting at a possible return for next season. Terrion Arnold, a redshirt sophomore, said to Austin Hannon of Bama Central (Sports Illustrated) that this team has 'unfinished business.' Arnold was emotional after the Tide came up short.

He loves this team and the program unconditionally and wants to capture a CFP National Championship.

Dallas Turner, a junior linebacker, is declaring for the NFL Draft via reports. JC Latham (offensive tackle) and Kool-Aid McKinstry (cornerback) have decisions to make as draft-eligible juniors. We will see what they do, but it feels like Arnold make decide to come back to Alabama for his senior year. He came as a five-star in the Crimson Tide's 2021 recruiting class.

Arnold had two tackles and a pass breakup versus Michigan.
