He is strongly leaning to Mississippi State, but it didn’t stop Alabama from offering four-star outside linebacker Willie Gay for its 2017 recruiting class. Gay, 6-foot-2, 205 pounds, is considered one of the top outside linebacker prospects.

Gay attends Starkville (Miss.) High School, and totaled 43 tackles, four tackles for loss, two interceptions and two touchdowns as a sophomore. Alabama’s assistant coaches Bo Davis and Kirby Smart look to curve his commitment to the Crimson Tide.
