Rainy conditions forced Alabama indoors for Tuesday’s practice. The Crimson Tide took to the Hank Crisp Facility in day two of game week prep for Florida. TDAM contributor Ivan White and yours truly with updates.
Notes from Tuesday’s practice
- Linebacker Denzel Devall was back at practice Tuesday, after missing Monday due to a knee injury. He returned to leading all outside ‘backers’ through drills, despite sporting a brace on his left knee.
- Running back Kenyan Drake (arm) was once again behind Derrick Henry in position drills. Athletic trainer Jeff Allen followed him around in attempts to punch the ball out of his right arm. Drake’s arm is still housed in a brace and heavily wrapped.
- Linebackers Christian Miller and Jamey Mosley both wore scout team jerseys. Miller donned No. 14, representing Florida’s pass rusher Alex McCalister (6.5 sacks). Mosley sported No. 14, to represent Jordan Sherit (1.5 sacks).
- A scout from the New York Jets watched Alabama practice from the sidelines.
