Always keep God first. We have all heard this statement at least once in life, whether it came from a pastor, parent or a good friend. No matter what profession we chose or endeavors we take on, it is vital for individuals to stay grounded on strong core values. Buffalo Bills rookie linebacker Reggie Ragland took a step forward on Sunday in strengthening his spiritual walk by getting baptized.

The former Alabama standout posted a video of this symbolic moment to social media.

While at Alabama, Ragland was a dominant linebacker, exceptional student and strong in the community. He posted 102 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, seven pass breakups, six quarterbacks and two forced fumbles during his senior year in 2015 (CFP national championship).

The 6-foot-1, 247-pound linebacker was a finalist for the Butkus Award—nation’s top linebacker and was named a consensus All-American. Buffalo selected him in the second round of the NFL Draft.
