In another Southeastern Conference Championship Game that features two illustrious programs, yours truly of Touchdown Alabama Magazine joined Mark Rogers of Mark Rogers TV to break down Alabama and Florida.
The Gators enter Saturday’s contest as a 24-point underdog, however, it has a lot to be optimistic about. Coach Jim McElwain’s group carries one of the nation’s top defenses, and a kicker that has been sharp all year.
Consistency on offense and aggressive play on defense is what Florida looks to achieve, while Alabama expects to earn its 26th conference title in school history and fifth under Nick Saban. This will be the ninth meeting between both programs, dating back to the SEC’s inaugural championship game in 1992 (Alabama won 28-21).
