Justin Smith-Touchdown Alabama Magazine

The state of Alabama is once again stacked for the 2020 recruiting class and the Tide is reaping the benefits.

Alabama’s 2020 recruiting class currently has eight commits. Five of those are in-state recruits. Dazalin Worsham, Malachi Moore, Jah-Marien Lathem, Jackson Bratton and Jayson Elijah Jones makes up this in-state group.

The Tide are far from done within the state as they still will be after some more of the state’s top targets. Roydell Williams, JJ Evans, EJ Williams, Kristian story and Eric Taylor are a few of the in-state targets Alabama will continue to try to add to their 2020 class.

Williams is a 4-Star running back, who had a monster season as he put up video game numbers.

Evans is a 4-Star wideout, who is arguably the hottest recruit in the state. He has racked up 16 offers in less than two months. He junior season was highlighted by his 17 receptions for 1706 yards and 18 touchdowns in nine games.

Williams is a 3-star wide receiver with a lengthy frame. He is clearly the next big wideout out of Central Pheonix City.

Kristian story is being recruited as a defensive back, but he currently plays a little bit of everything for Lanett High School, including quarterback and wideout. He is listed as an athlete on most recruiting sites.

Taylor is one of the defensive linemen that made Hewitt-Trussville defensive front tough. Under defensive coordinator, Rudy Griffin, Taylor has become one of the most highly recruited defensive lineman among SEC schools.

Clay Webb is the in-state target that could sealed things up for Alabama within the state’s boarder.
