At a time where Alabama needed a boost of encouragement, linebacker Dylan Moses did so when he posted an Instagram video displaying his rehab progress.

Moses who tore his ACL back in August camp is now slowly but surely on his way back to the football field. The junior from Louisianna was expected to be the lead man in the middle for the Crimson Tide before his injury.

On Saturday’s game against LSU, Moses was seen dressed on the sideline despite no updates on his status.

During his Monday press conference head coach, Nick Saban explained his decision to allow Moses to dress against the Tigers.

“Being from Baton Rouge, he came and asked if he could dress for the game and wanted to be a part of the team for that game,” said Saban. “We have not intentions of playing him, nor is that any indication that he’s ready to come back and start practicing or playing. That’s not the case. It was just something that he wanted to do to be part of the team. ”

Moses is one of three Alabama defenders who has suffered a season-ending injury with four total on the roster. That includes senior middle linebacker, Joshua McMillon (knee), junior defensive end LaBryan Ray (foot) and five-star freshman running back Trey Sanders (foot).
