Last week ended in disappointment for Alabama football.
Despite all that went wrong, it had a chance to defeat LSU at the end. The Crimson Tide could not get a defensive stop and the offense’s heroic comeback — led by Tua Tagovailoa at quarterback — fell just short.
After a 46-41 loss, Nick Saban blamed himself and many players did not want to address reporters after the game.
On Monday, a quartet of student-athletes followed Saban’s presser and gave their thoughts from the matchup.
The group of Najee Harris, DeVonta Smith, Patrick Surtain II and Raekwon Davis all gave LSU credit; however, they felt like the attention to details and focus was not there on the Tide’s end.

Even with this, Alabama has quickly turned its attention to Mississippi State.
During Saban’s tenure, the Bulldogs have always served as a trap game for the Crimson Tide — seeing how the program always plays physical in the month of November.
Huge personalities in national media got what they wanted last week, but Alabama is prepared to pick up the pieces and move forward. Listed below are all four interviews from the players.
