Trent Seaborn is locked in on continuing his journey to living out a dream of suiting up for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Seaborn is a 2027 four-star quarterback prospect, and he is verbally committed to the Tide. He is one of two 2027 quarterback prospects committed to Alabama, with Elijah Haven committing to the Tide in April. The Thompson High School product is looking forward to getting to Tuscaloosa several times this summer as he remains firm with his pledge to Alabama.
“I’m locked in and ready for official visit season at Alabama,” Seaborn told Touchdown Alabama. “Mine is June 11-14, but I’ll be going up there the other weekends too, just to be around the guys, get to know the other commits better, and also help out however I can in recruiting the guys our coaches are focused on getting committed to Alabama.”
One of the things Seaborn has noticed about the Tide’s 2027 recruiting efforts is the emphasis on recruiting players who truly want to play for what Alabama football stands for.
“It seems like the staff has focused on the right types of guys to recruit and land, guys that want to play for Alabama, and everything that means,” Seaborn said. “It’s exciting to see how it all shakes out.”
The Elite 11 Finals will host Seaborn and other top 2027 prospects this weekend. Haven will also be in attendance. Attending this prestigious event is something the Thompson signal-caller is looking forward to.
“I’m really excited to have earned an invite to the Elite 11 Finals, and I’m so excited to experience it,” Seaborn told Touchdown Alabama. “I know it will be a huge opportunity to not just compete but learn from the counselors and coaches and also hopefully build relationships with the other quarterbacks, some of them I know, some I don’t. I think I’m most excited about the chance to build those new relationships.”
Seaborn has thrown for more than 10,000 passing yards during his career at Thompson while leading the Warriors to three Class 7A State Championships. He looking forward to going after another ring this fall.
