“As a kid from Lexington, KY it has been a dream of mine since the first time I strapped up my pads to play in the National Football League,” read Wills statement. “After prayers and discussion with my family I have decided to forgo my senior season and declare for the 2020 NFL Draft.”
Wills made 28 starts in his career at Alabama and in his junior season was named to the All-SEC First Team by the coaches and Associated Press. He also earned second-team All-America honors from the AFCA.
Wills announced his decision to forgo his senior season just two days after fellow offensive tackle Alex Leatherwood announced his return to Tuscaloosa. The Lexington, KY, native is heralded as one of the best offensive linemen in the draft and could potentially be a top 10 pick if all goes his way.
