On Sunday, Jalen Hurts started in his first career NFL game at quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles.

In a matchup against the New Orleans Saints, he totaled 273 yards offensively (167 passing, 106 rushing) and became the second quarterback in NFL history (Lamar Jackson) to record 100-plus yards rushing in his first start. He completed 17 of 30 passes, including one for a touchdown.

He recorded 12 first downs for the Eagles and paced it 413 total yards in a 24-21 win over the Saints.

Hurts ended a four-game losing streak for Philadelphia, and had legends of the game very impressed with his outing.

Warren Moon, former QB and Pro Football Hall of Fame

Tony Dungy, former head coach and Super Bowl 41 Champion

Terrell Owens, former WR and Pro Football Hall of Fame

Marcus Spears, former NFL player and ESPN analyst

Even five-time NBA champion, Earvin “Magic” Johnson had to chime in.
