Alabama’s head football coach and offensive coordinator have its starting quarterback for the fall. Crimson Tide fans piled into Bryant-Denny Stadium to see Bryce Young in the annual A-Day Game, and they were pleased by his efforts.
The sophomore was voted the Dixie Howell Most Valuable Player of the matchup per reporters.
He completed 25 of 44 passes for 333 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions. Young had the lone scoring pass of the game, which was a 59-yard strike to Cameron Latu.
He made plays under pressure and showed the coaching staff his ability to make all the throws.
Young, a former five-star prospect, will enter summer workouts and fall camp as the guy for the Tide’s offense.
He led the White Team to a 13-10 victory over the Crimson Team and turned in some strong highlights.
