WATCH: Alabama freshman WR, Agiye Hall had his coming out party on A-Day

It will not be easy for Alabama football to replace DeVonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle, but one true freshman is prepared to give an effort in the fall.

Agiye Hall, a native of Valrico, Fla., stole the attention of fans and media pundits on A-Day.

The 6-foot-3, 195-pounder displayed incredible balance, body control, and concentration on the field. He possesses elite speed and has a knack for making contested catches. Hall had a few moments where he reminded Alabama fans of former standout, Julio Jones. As a five-star prospect, Hall recorded four receptions for 72 yards for the second-team (Crimson) offense.

All four of his catches resulted in first downs, including a 37-yard grab from Braxton Barker on a deep ball. Hall could have had a 100-yard performance; however, one of his catches from Paul Tyson was called back due to a penalty.

People were anticipating Javon Baker to have the breakout game, but it was the freshman who took center stage. Nick Saban stated throughout the game on Hall being a player that will help the wide receiver room a lot. The state of Florida gave Saban names such as Amari Cooper, Calvin Ridley, and Jerry Jeudy. Hall is the next one in line, and he is already showing his potential to be a special playmaker.
