Alabama players react to Derek Chauvin’s guilty verdict

Shortly after Derek Chauvin was found guilty of second-degree and third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter Alabama players shared their reactions online to the completion of the trial.

Chauvin was on trial for his involvement in the death of George Floyd where he knelt on his neck for over nine minutes while being handcuffed on the ground. He now faces up to 40 years in prison for second-degree murder, up to 25 years for third-degree murder and up to 10 years for second-degree manslaughter.
