Keon Keeley told Touchdown Alabama Thursday he will make a return trip to the University of Alabama this weekend.
Keeley garners a five-star rating from most recruiting sites, and he is currently verbally committed to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Alabama offered Keeley in January, and the Crimson Tide got him on campus for a visit later that month. He said he was impressed with Alabama’s off-the-field development after the visit.
“I feel Alabama offers things off the field that are extremely useful in life and football,” Keeley told Touchdown Alabama. “The visit went well. It was a great atmosphere, and I experienced a lot of cool things.”
Keeley currently attends Berkeley Prep in Tampa, Florida. He is listed at 6-foot-6 and 240 pounds, and he is one of the most dominant edge-rusher prospects in the 2023 recruiting class. He previously stated he models his game after strong and lengthy edge rushers like former Alabama outside linebacker, Terrell Lewis.
