Alabama’s matchup against Tennessee means something for the first time in the Nick Saban era.
The Crimson Tide has won 15 games over Tennessee since 2007, but the Volunteers are different this year.

Josh Heupel, a former national champion at Oklahoma, has turned the program around in Knoxville (Tenn.) during his second season as head coach. Tennessee will enter Saturday’s matchup against the Tide undefeated (5-0) at Neyland Stadium. The game is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CT via CBS. Hendon Hooker and Tennessee played well in 2021, but Alabama got a 52-24 victory.
Heupel has a complete team this year as the Vols are scoring 46.8 points and allowing 17.8 points per game.
Tennessee fans are so excited they want an “orange-out” for the contest.

Dear @AD_DannyWhite , may we please do the #orangeout ? White next to crimson will make the crimson stand out, whereas orange will help that crimson fade into the background.Thank you for all you do.#GBO🍊🏈💛
