New England is trying to get a handle on its quarterback situation.
After benching Mac Jones for Bailey Zappe in a loss to Chicago, the Patriots will start Jones on Sunday against the New York Jets.

According to Mark Daniels of Massachusetts Live, Bill Belichick told reporters that Jones took the full workload in Wednesday’s practice. He expects him to be fully available and ready to go for the matchup.

ESPN’s Field Yates said Jones took about 90 percent of first-team reps in Wednesday’s practice and will start versus the Jets. He is a few weeks removed from an ankle sprain against the Baltimore Ravens.
