He sustained a sprained SC joint to his shoulder in Philadelphia’s 25-20 victory over Chicago. The second-year starter did not play against the Dallas Cowboys on Christmas Eve. He wants to help the Eagles secure the No. 1 seed for the NFC playoffs and earn home-field advantage. Nick Sirianni, head coach of the Eagles, said Hurts’ health and safety come first. He has pushed all week and the team is confident he will return in the short term. It looks like we may see Garnder Minshew against New Orleans.
