One video released by the Alabama social media account made waves online showing wide receiver Ja’Corey Brooks make a catch over cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry.
Although the focus was on Brooks and McKinstry, what piqued the fans’ interest was which quarterback threw the impressive pass.
The pass turned out to be thrown by redshirt sophomore Jalen Milroe who is entrenched in a quarterback competition with redshirt freshman Ty Simpson. But as much as Nick Saban and Alabama would like to keep the spotlight off the competition until the fall, Milroe clearly would still like some credit for the pass as he called out the account for not tagging him.
